I would like take a moment to mention (and thank) Scenic 515 Cabins on beautiful Lake Fork for all of their great service and lodging accommodations that they have provided us these past several years. I actually found these cabins, while looking for a lake front place to stay for a tournament but couldn’t find anything available. When I contacted Joyce, she told me that they were not lakefront, but that their facility was just minutes away from several boat launches to choose from. I have to admit, I was a little concerned because we always want to be on the water, but I was not disappointed once we visited. At Scenic 515 Cabins, you will find nice, clean and comfortable cabins set among beautiful oak and hickory trees. They have a common grilling area with lots of picnic tables set in the middle of a court yard type setting. They have 2 huge grills with wood already cut and ready for your favorite BBQ. They also have 2 fire pits on the property for a nice campfire or for roasting your favorite marshmallows. Each cabin is furnished with full baths, color television (with cable) and 2 double beds, a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, alarm clock and your own covered boat parking spot (with electric outlets) right outside your door!

Oh and did I mention you also get Joyce and Danny! They are the best hosts you will ever find while staying at any lodging accommodations – hands down!

I visit and stay at a lot of places during the year while fishing tournaments and when I find one that “REELY” stands out, I don’t hesitate to share their information. If you are not familiar with Lake Fork (shame on you – LOL), it is naturally known for outstanding bass fishing! The lake currently holds the Texas state record for the biggest largemouth bass, weighing over 18 pounds! Lake Fork has also produced more than 35 of the top 50 bass in Texas.
