Hello everyone:

May was such a busy month that I got a little behind in sending out the newsletter, but better late than never!  :0) 

First, I have to start with a little bragging on becoming a grandma for the first time - wow, that was an experience!  May brought me a brand new baby Jazlynn on May 15th, who weighed 7lbs 4 ounces (Hey - I've caught fish bigger than that! LOL!) and was 21 inches long.  She is a beautiful, healthy baby girl (just like her mama) and we are so proud to welcome her to our family. 

O.k. enough bragging and on to some fishing!  Like I mentioned before, May was busy.  The Dr. Shelton Tournament was held at the new Cassell Boykins Pavilion on Lake Sam Rayburn mid May.  If you haven't had a chance to check out those new facilities, you should.  The pavilion is beautiful and they now have 9 boat launch ramps.  We weighed in some good fish, but so did everyon else - it was a great day to be on the lake and we had a lot of fun!

I didn't get to fish the Sealy McDonald tournamet on Toledo Bend because I was busy working the booth (what's up with that!) but we had a great time and I got to meet a lot of nice young ladies who weighed in sporting their REEL GIRL pride!

 

Oh, and did I mention - my Aunt Katherine won a brand new Triton bass boat in the elimination game!  I am so proud of her!  You go Katherine!

I know I mentioned a new blog coming soon.  I will be working on that, along with the June newsletter next week - so both of those will be coming your way soon.  If you know of anyone who might be interested in our newsletters and/or website, feel free to shoot them a link to get signed up.
